Welcome to the Koukii Designs on-line store. Please ensure you read through all of our terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. By visiting the Koukii website and / or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

We also have a Privacy Policy available on the web-site outlining how we manage information provided by you.

It is important to note that prices, specifications, availability and terms of offers may change without notice. The up to date prices and promotions will be validated at the time your order is placed and processed.

In line with normal procedure, please note that the below terms and conditions may change or be updated and you will not be directly notified. It may be prudent to read through the below information each time a new order is placed.

CUSTOM MADE PIECES

At Koukii Designs we can custom make pieces to suite any individual. Recreate a modern piece using your precious stones from a previous piece of Jewellery. We encourage you to come in and visit us in person to discuss your requirements, this way we can advise you of what is possible without compromising the design.

We require a 50% deposit to place an order and full payment on collection of the finished item. Orders generally take 2–8 weeks to complete (depending on the complexity of the item) once the deposit has been paid. In the case where a piece includes a diamond, the stone must be paid in full and 50% deposit must be paid towards the piece (not including the diamond). Payment can be made via direct deposit into the specified Koukii Designs account. Details will be provided on request

If a longer delivery period is required, you will be notified within 3 working days of your deposit being received. You will then be asked to confirm that you would still like to proceed with the order.

Once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. Each piece is handmade to suit your specific requirements, therefore we ask that you understand the finished products cannot be returned or exchanged. If you change your mind regarding any details, including size, we will do our best to have any adjustments made. However any changes made after the order has been placed will be at your expense.

RING SIZING

At Koukii Designs we will take a ring fitting prior to placing all ring orders, but can only advise on the recommended ring size. It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct size that will be comfortable in all temperatures. It is important to note that fingers are generally larger in warm or humid weather and smaller in cold weather. This can differ from person to person.

In the case of a customer requesting the resize of a ring, a charge may apply. It is important to note that not all rings can be resized. A second fitting is required for any rings with stones, before the stones are set. At the time of placing a ring order, the customer is required to approve the size and accept responsibility for the size selection.

Koukii Designs cannot take responsibility for incorrect choice of size and any cost associated with resizing or remaking the ring will be the responsibility of the customer.

Engraving

Koukii Designs is pleased to offer hand engraving.

Hand Engraving: Hand engraving is the art of removing metal to create lettering through the use of manual tools. Each piece is unique, allowing for the different character of each engraver.

Q. May I return an engraved item?

A. Unfortunately, engraved items cannot be returned to Koukii Designs.

Please note all Jewellery displayed on the website is subject to the availability of the required materials. Koukii Designs products are all hand made there might be a slight variation between each product. Colour and size of all stones and pearls when viewed on different monitors, or reproduced from different printers will vary slightly. Koukii Designs cannot guarantee the images on the website will accurately portray the finished piece.

Shopping & Shipping

ORDERING ONLINE

An email will be sent to you confirming your order once it has been received and registered by Koukii Designs.

Once an order has been placed through our secure checkout system, it cannot be cancelled or changed.

Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Koukii Designs will be effective when we dispatch the goods to you. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Sydney, Australia and the language of the contract is International.

Under the following circumstances we may reserve the right not to accept your order:

• We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment,

• The item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards.

If this is the case we will be in contact with you regarding the situation.

PAYMENT

Koukii uses a secure online payment system which encrypts your credit transaction details using the latest technology. Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard, Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by Koukii Designs and you confirm that the credit card that is being used is yours. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise Koukii Designs, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

All prices shown for mail order items are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Postage and handling costs will be calculated when an order is placed and must be paid in full before the item can be dispatched.

Once orders have been confirmed and payment had been received, we will ship out your order as soon as the piece is made. The carrier will be Australia Post and items should arrive within 10 – 15 working days of receipt of your payment.

Q. How can I check on an order I placed on Koukii.com or through your catalogue?

Q. How Much Is Postage?

A.Postage on all Australian orders is $16.35.

Q. How Will My Order Be Sent?

A. Within Australia jewellery orders are sent registered and insured with Australia Post.

Q. How Long Will It Take To Receive My Order?

A. In Australia, and based on availability, you should allow 10-15 working days for delivery once payment has been received. Please note that all pieces are hand crafted and not off the shelf.  This does unfortunately sometimes mean a slight delay. Call us when placing an order to let us know the urgency.

Q. Can You Deliver To A PO Box?

A. Yes we can, keep an eye out for the package as the post office may not contact you when it arrives.

Q. How Will My Order Be Packaged?

A. Each item of jewellery is packaged individually in a Koukii Designs Jewellery box then placed in a cardboard box with shredded paper so it doesn’t move around then shipped in an Express Post envelop.

Q. What Currency Do You Accept?

A. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and are transacted in Australian Dollars. All prices are GST inclusive.

Q. Do You Have A Minimum Order Amount?

A. No. You can spend as little or as much as you like.

Q. Can I Make A Phone Order?

A. Yes. Phone orders are most welcome (02) 9267 0122. Feel free also to email your orders to adina@koukii.com

Q. How Do I Pay?

A. Online orders are by Mastercard or Visa only. Phone orders can also be paid by direct deposit into our bank account or credit card over the phone. Please contact us on  02 9267 0122 for more information. *Please note that we will not start the job until a deposit has been made and cleared into our bank account.

Q. Can I ship my order to an international location?

A. No, currently we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the Australia. 

Q. Will my Koukii.com purchase arrive gift-wrapped?

A. All Koukii.com items over $100 will come in a Koukii Designs Jewellery box. If the item is under $100 you will be given the option upon check out to choose a box and gift wrapping at a $5 cost to you.

Q. Can I include a personalized gift message with my purchase?

A. Yes, you will be given the opportunity to create a personalized message upon checkout. The message, enclosed in a white envelope, will arrive with your gift package. The package will not have any other additional form identifying you as the giver. For this reason, we encourage you to at least enter your name on the gift message or even inform the recipient that they will be receiving a package.

Refunds & Returns

REFUND POLICY

Please choose carefully as no refunds will be given unless merchandise is faulty.

We take great pride in our products and take every effort to ensure items are of the highest quality. In the event that you feel you have received an item which you deem to be unsuitable due to faulty workmanship please contact Koukii Designs Studio during business hours on +612 9267 0122 or email info@koukii.com within 48 hours of receiving the item.

Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying us. Goods need to be returned unworn, in their original condition, with all original packaging and invoice attached.

If the item is deemed to be faulty by Koukii Designs, a full refund or a credit note will be issued at the customer’s choice. No credit will be issued for change of mind.

The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage and any additional postage and handling costs incurred by delivery of the new item. The original postage and handling charges are not refundable. Koukii Designs takes no responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit. To ensure that your returned item arrives safely, please use a registered postal service.

Q. How can I make returns or exchanges?

A. Articles are accepted for credit or exchange from Koukii Designs if returned in saleable condition within 30 days, accompanied by a sales receipt. Some exclusions may apply. Returns may be dropped off or sent to our studio. Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit.

We do not refund or exchange on sale items..

Q. Is there a warranty?

All care is taken to produce an original Koukii Designs piece. Warranties extend to manufacturing faults only - these will be repaired at no cost. The warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear and the warranty expires 3 months from the date of purchase.

Q. How can I get an item repaired?

A. We repair items made by Koukii Designs, but when it comes to other jewellers work we will put as much care as we would our own jewellery but we will take no responsibility if something that is to happen to the piece that would be out of our control, older Jewellery may look strong and in good condition but the appearance is often deceptive and the metal may have become weak and brittle as well as other jewellers using the wrong solders and even repairing the piece the wrong way, weakening the piece even more.
